Transit
A transformative app for documenting and celebrating gender journeys
Transit is an app concept intended to show my hifi prototyping design skills. Designed for trans, nonbinary, and other gender diverse individuals, it has features intended to assist users in documenting their gender journeys.
Through features such as a diary, a photo gallery, voice recordings, and schedules for hormones and surgeries, queer users are empowered to celebrate their milestones.

A number of conceptual colour palettes. From left to right the inspirations are as followed: the trans pride flag, the nonbinary pride flag, and the genderqueer pride flag.

A few screens from the application in the colours of the trans pride flag. These screens are from the first iteration of the application concept.

A few screens from the application in the colours of the nonbinary pride flag as an alternate colour way. These screens are from the first iteration of the application concept.

Hifi mockup of a later iteration of the prototype. For this iteration I focused more on a glassmorphism and neumorphism inspired style. My decision for this style came mostly from aesthetic choice and a desire to explore a style other than flat design.

Hifi mockup of a later iteration of the prototype. Note the change in button style from flat pink to a more glassmorphic-inspired gradient style.

Hifi mockup of a later iteration of the prototype. Including the user's name in copy is good for queer individuals who are trying out new names. It helps with switching to a new name and helps users feel more affirmed and empowered in their gender identity.
